Hola Salseras y Salseros,
Here we go again with a brand new date for the Salsa World, as the countdown for the Munich Mega-Event „3rd Summer Salsa Festival Munich“ has already started. From 4th to 7th September 2008 Munich will be the center of the international salsa scene. Salseras and Salseros from all over the world will be coming to town, this time even bigger and more spectacular with a Top Line Up and Salsa Super Stars like e. g. Johnny Vazquez (Mexico), Maykel Fonts (Cuba), Alex da Silva (L.A, USA) and further artist from all over the world !
This means 4 days of mega-parties with international Salsa Shows of the world’s top dancers and DJs. We will rock the dancefloor at one of the most famous places in the city center, called “Löwenbräukeller” (Stiglmaierplatz) close to the central station. This party hall of 2000sqm on two levels (ballroom and gallery) with a perfect dancefloor will be the navel of the Salsa world that weekend.
Last but not least we present you four nights and three days with more than 60 workshops in five rooms and the world’s best Salsa teachers, performing all line-dancing-styles (American Styles) and as a brand new second highlight also Salsa Cubana. The workshops will be started on Friday with a special event by one of the world’s top dancers, Maykel Fonts (Cuba) in the “Löwenbräukeller” location.
The Salsa Festival 2008 on a total area of more than 3500 m² together with its line-up is going to be one of Europe’s Top Salsa Events.
Naturally you will find a shopping-mall right next to the workshop locations for all the things a dancer needs to be happy – so far, so good
