Salsa Festival in Sonderborg – Theme Party on January 31,2009

The party committee invites you to: Go West ’The American western dream’ Saturday the 31st of January ’09

Come to the festivals gala party as cancan girl, saloon girl, cowboy, settler, sheriff, out-law, Indian, mama squaw or Mexican in real western spirit.

The nostalgia of the west is the setting for a macho and exciting evening where hot girls and tough guys play up to each other.

For inspiration:

Men:

The westerns are full of cowboys, sheriffs, out-laws, justices of the peace, Indians, chiefs, gamblers, shopkeepers, settlers, Mexicans etc.

Cowboy hat, waistcoat, scarf, sheriff star, weapon, Indian clothing, dresses for gamblers / justices of the peace in ”nice clothing”, shopkeepers with a big apron, checked and striped shirts, beard, moustache, boots… the only limit is your imagination!

Ladies:

Full skirts, corsages, feather boas, suspenders, Indian girl, mama squaw, cowboy girl, female settler etc.

Movies:

“Shane”, “Rio Grande”, “The Diligence”, “Billy the Kid”, “Young Guns”.
