The Sydney Salsa Congress includes 4 nights of spectacular shows. Over 80 teams from the World's best latin dancers will share their passion of Latin Dance with you. Come and see their exciting choreographies which include Salsa, Lambada, Samba, Bachata, Zouk, Gafiera & Latin Hip Hop and more…
We have invited some of the most inspiring Latin Dancers from all over the world, including: Victor & Burju (Hache y Machete), Johnny Vasquez, Ana & Joel, Adolfo & Carla, Super Mario & Magna Gopal.
The Sports Centre in Sydney Olympic Park) has been hailed as "one of the best in the world" because it is perfectly suited to the needs of a salsa congress.
There will be over 75 workshops over 3 days (Fri/Sat/Sun) taught by some of the best Latin Dance Instructors in the world. You can learn Salsa, Samba, Latin Hip Hop, Latin Jazz, Rumba, Afro Cuban, Cha Cha, Lambada and many more. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you will find a workshop to suit your level of expertise. Each night of the Congress there will be a party with International Latin DJs and over 1,000 dancers. The parties represent a great opportunity to dance and make friends with people from all over the world. Some of the best dancers in the world will be ready and willing to give you a spin on the dance floor, not to mention our local talent.
